Puerto Plata Makes The New York Times “53 Places To Go In 2008″

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

Muy Bien! I was surfing the web as my sporatic mind tends to do and I saw the NY Times post about places to go, naturally, as a traveling junky I had to see if my lil slice o’ heaven had made it on the list. As I began to scroll down I read a bunch of excellent places to check out, then as I got down closer toward the end of the list I saw Puerto Plata! NICE!, I thought. Although Cabarete is a little ways from Puerto Plata it’s close enough to count it! I haven’t actually spent that much time in Puerto Plata but I’m definately going to explore it more on my next trip in February. So, here’s the link to check out the article and I hope you’ll stay with us when you get down here :) Adios, Amigos! http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/09/travel/09where.html?_r=1&pagewanted=2&oref=slogin
